New York-based Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. LP (KKR) tasked BrightLeaf with creating a microsite for its Green Solutions Platform (GSP). This KKR initiative allows participating portfolio companies to find opportunities to increase efficiency, reduce operating expenses, and boost their bottom line.
The Green Solutions Platform supports and highlights the work of KKR portfolio companies that enhance eco-efficiency, advance eco-innovation, and/or offer a solution to environmental problems as core to their business mandates, uniquely tying environmental and business value together.
KKR created the following categories for its participating portfolio companies:
Initiatives within companies that create business value through their environmental attributes
Initiatives within companies that result in avoided cost and improved environmental practices
Core business models that provide a solution to an environmental challenge
KKR wanted a website and supporting materials that would give them the flexibility to engage with and highlight companies making meaningful change, and that would give the participating companies access to KKR’s proprietary tools and resources.
The Result: BrightLeaf developed a Green Solutions Platform website that served a vital role in an integrated suite of materials that told a complex story in a clear, compelling way to a diverse audience, with consistent branding among platforms and devices.
