CITGO Petroleum Corporation (“CITGO”) asked BrightLeaf to provide communication services for its 2019 Simón Bolívar Foundation brochure. The BrightLeaf team delivered an impactful Foundation brochure that clearly conveyed the Foundation’s refocus, developing content – including imagery – that aligned with the new brand. The retrospective storytelling, meanwhile, provided a rich historical context for the Foundation’s past impact, leveraging its new mission with past successes and accomplishments. It clearly stated the Foundation’s goals, how it accomplishes them and who they benefit, while being mindful of the difficult environment within which they operate in Venezuela.
The Simón Bolívar Foundation is the 501(c)(3) non-profit, private foundation of CITGO Petroleum Corporation. It serves as a catalyst to transform lives by connecting and networking community members to take community action. Initiatives leverage existing resources and invest in organizations to meet the immediate and long-term health needs of the most vulnerable in and from Venezuela, the United States and other countries. The Foundation supports a wide range of programming and direct support -- creating dividends to benefit the wider community for years to come.
